Time Traveler Wife in 2008

The Time Traveler's Wife is a novel written by Audrey Niffenegger five years ago. It had some success and find a widereadership. The story revolves around a man with a strange genetic disorder that causes him to unpredictably time-travel and his wife, an artist, who has to cope with his frequent absences and dangerous experiences.

A movie adaptation of this book is currently in post-production and should be released at the end of this year, in November 2008 or December 2008 (the release date isn't fixed yet).

The Time Traveler's Wife, directed by Robert Schwentke, is starring Eric Bana as the time traveler and Rachel McAdams in the role of his wife.

Eric Bana as the time traveler and Rachel McAdams as his wifeThe movie plot should be close to the original story, so if you're impatient to know more, you can still read the book to help you wait for Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams.

Well.. Actually, Journey Man came after the Time Traveler's Wife pal. The Book was published in September 17, 2003 I believe and Journey Man began its run in September 24, 2007. So, I would have to say that the concept of jumping through time for Journey Man was inspired by the Time Traveler's Wife just to get the facts straight. =)

I am an author, and a voracious reader. i was trying to contact Ms. Niffenegger about the screen play a while back, so, these guys better get it right. As per the book, it is the finest piece of work in 20 years. Fantastical, imaginative beyond words, and the concept is stunning. A word to Niffenegger, if they dont get it right, dont let it out. your work is too important for some dolt to destroy it in film. I ought to know, I am a member of Local 44 craftspersons in hollywood, ca., and have seen much done well, and much destroyed. Maybe they'll suprise me....
